The first of the two kayaks that I loved from this brand is the Skipjack 90. It comes with a price that’s affordable and you can choose from four vibrant colors - jamberry, wildfire, moss camo, and Caribbean blue.
What I like about it?
I was looking for a compact, yet durable kayak that I could carry in the back of my SUV. With an above average rating on Amazon, the Skipjack 90 caught my attention, and I placed an order for it.
After taking it to the Verde River for a weekend camping and fishing trip, I observed the following win-win aspects.
1. Storage
Straight off the bat, I loved the storage capacity of this kayak. I decided to stay out on the water for almost an entire day to catch some catfish as well as smallmouth bass. So, I had to ensure I had sufficient supplies with me on the kayak. And the Skipjack 90 did not disappoint!

What I like about it?
If you’re a taller-than-average guy like one of my friends (who is 6’ 5” tall), finding kayak’s that’ll fit you can be a challenge. I accompanied my friend to help him buy a fishing kayak, and the Sea Ghost 110 is the only one that comfortably accommodated his massive frame.
I borrowed this kayak from him for a week and observed some extraordinary features.

What I like about it?
When it comes to fishing kayaks, few brands get it right the way Brooklyn Kayak Co. does! And the RA220 has been said to be the “swiss army knife” of single-person fishing kayaks. After reading overall positive feedback online, I decided to give it a try.
The kayak was delivered at my doorstep within a couple of days and after using it for three fishing excursions on the Verde River, here’s what I liked.
1. Stability
I wanted to try a long cast without moving the kayak too much, and the only way to achieve that was to stand up. As advertised, the RA220 is exceptionally stable! I did not have to worry about falling overboard while standing and casting for a good ten minutes.
