Hunting is allowed, but refuge-specific rules apply in addition to New York regulations. Typical special regulations include limited species or seasons, quota/lottery permits, weapon restrictions (e.g. archery or shotgun only), shooting-hour limits, blind or stand rules and restricted access.

Waterfowl ($10 on Saturdays, $5 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and half-price for seniors), spring turkey ($5 pre-season drawing application fee). Waterfowl and turkey both have a $5 application fee assessed by vendor and money does not go to FWS. recaccess.
