I started this website because of my love of hunting. My father died when I was only 8 years old so I never had any opportunities growing up to go hunting. It wasn't until I got married that I finally got the opportunity to experience the rush and exhilaration of hunting, thanks to my father in law that has been hunting his entire life.  When my father in law first invited me to go on a hunting trip with him, 5 years ago, I was ecstatic. I couldn't believe that I was finally getting the chance to do something I had wanted to do since I was a boy. My father in laws passion for hunting was evident the moment we started planning our first trip. He could tell I was a nervous wreck but assured me that it was very normal to be nervous and that once I shot my first deer that I would be hooked for life. Boy was he right. That first trip was something that I will never forget. I was able to kill my first Doe that year and the feeling that you get after your first kill is something that words cant even begin to describe. Over the course of the next 4 hunting seasons, I have learned a lot of valuable information and realized that I still don't know everything there is to know. Hunting is a passion for me and it's something that I am excited to start teaching my own kids how to do. One of the aspects I like the most about hunting is that it is extremely challenging and can be very rewarding. I learned that you can never stop learning. The more you learn, the better hunter you will be.
