Report a map or data error, suggest a refuge or guide, or ask a question about WildlifeChase. We read every message.
WildlifeChase is an independent project. We read every message and use your reports to fix maps and guides — corrections from hunters who know a refuge on the ground are the most valuable feedback we get.
We usually reply within a few business days. During the busiest weeks of the waterfowl season it can take a little longer.
What to include
- Map or data error: the page URL, the unit or WPA name, and what's wrong (for example a closed area that's shown as open, or a boundary that doesn't match posted signs). A photo of a sign or a link to the refuge's official notice helps us verify quickly.
- Regulation change: a link to the official source (refuge website, hunt brochure, Federal Register or state regulations).
- Suggestions: refuges, WPAs or topics you'd like us to cover, or tools that would help you plan a hunt.
What we can't help with
We're not affiliated with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service or any state agency, so we can't issue permits, process lottery applications or interpret regulations for a specific situation. For those questions, contact the refuge office directly — every refuge page links to its official USFWS website — or your state wildlife agency.
Corrections
When a reader report leads to a change, we fix the page, update its date and, for significant changes, note it on the news & updates page. See our editorial policy for details.
