Hunting at Hagerman NWR

Permitted hunting categories are big game, wild turkey, migratory birds, small game, and feral & exotic, subject to state seasons and refuge-specific rules. Fishing is available — freshwater fishing. A refuge permit is required for at least some activities, in addition to your state license.

Refuge waters include 466 acres of various ponds, 2,195 acres of open water on the Big Mineral Arm of Lake Texoma and several miles of creeks, including Big Mineral, Harris and Sandy.
