Hunting at Lake Andes NWR

Hunting opportunities include big game, waterfowl, wild turkey, upland birds, migratory birds, and small game, subject to state seasons and refuge-specific rules. Fishing is available — freshwater fishing.

Dikes separate Lake Andes into three separate units, but a lack of a permanent water supply limits the lake's optimal habitat for waterfowl.
